18:13 the other pigeon( the one that landed in front of the pigeon targeted) was like "GET DOWN MR PRESIDENT!"

I live here in the U.S.A. As a kid living in a city with a housed neighborhood (as not in hi rise apartment buildings), I would shoot across the street at the neighbors roof, from our attic, which was always loaded with pigions. I used a pellet gun. No scope. Dead birds covered the neighbors roof all summer. He was a good neighbor and friend of the family. But he freaked out as to why there was so many dead birds only on his roof. He has passed away years ago but never knew it was me.
  • You hit the spot, literally. Educational and informative. Some people don't realize the effect wildlife has on their food supply.
  • probably the only dude ive seen on youtube that hammers in being humane. i respect that

I learned a lot from this video. Thank you for the way you presented everything with style.
  • I must have heard you 112 times utter that little cry of pleasure from the shooter who hits the goal Hoooooé ! 😂😂😂 Excellent cleaning of pigeons. It's a bit thanks to your videos that I bought an M3 FX as my first PCP. Bravo for your passion and your many videos. A friend from France who uses a translator ! 😁

And the bonus if you need one, all those pigeons go to feed farm staff. Good result all round. Cheers Matt, good video...

'Like shooting rock pigeons on a siesta' could be a replacement for the classic 'like shooting fish in a barrel' lol

Hi Matt, maybe the off switch you talked about is because the shot placement is right on or right next to the birds brain stem, it's similar where the center mass shot are made for the snipers just below the chin (adam's apple) that would shot off any nerve stimuli from the brain to the rest of the body.

I'd say it was like shooting fish in a barrel, but there were too many feathers. Prettiest pigeons I've ever seen, too. Never seen such color on a winged rat. Great video!

Awesome. South Africa is a beautiful country. I wish I could go back again.
  • Would a semi-automatic setup be realistic for this kind of situation? Are there reliable options for semi automatics?
