Let's see how many legends are seeing this in 2024 🔥🔥✅️✅️
  • I've listened to J Cole for a long time, and still some of the complexities of his music hits me at random. This video in particular is beautiful for the obvious themes of resistance, love, fearlessness. But something else got me today while watching it. It seems that the (I'm assuming) daughter and son of the slave master, being the younger generation, are disappointed and uncomfortable with the treatment of the slaves in and outside of the home. Hence them not just turning a blind eye, but actually aiding them, and then standing proudly, and unmoving, with them, as brothers and sisters in resistance at the end. Cole, you think you're slick! Out here teaching the young ones values and courage 😘

I absolutely love this song and the video. The video is awesome on its own but the lyrics are pretty deep with a bit of a throwback sound. Reminds me of early 2000's late 90's music.
