Lyrics:
you got a slurpee for free
i caught you lookin’ at me
in the 7-eleven
under fluorescent lights

we walked in comfy silence
footsteps down familiar sidewalk
knowing that we were
here in our dreams last night

all my ghosts are with me
i know you feel them too
riding shotgun next to your free slurpee
they know all of my habits
but they don’t know about you
i hope that’s true

we made sangria and failed
i spilled mac and cheese on my pants
and thought about kissing you
underneath kitchen lights

all my ghosts are with me
i know you feel them too
oh they just stand there while we’re taking shots of brandy
they know all of my habits
but they don’t know about you
i hope that’s true

i can see it now
the wedding of the year
i can see it now
he stands up there and wipes his tears
i can see it now
when all my ghosts disappear
i can see it crystal clear

you got a slurpee for free
i caught you lookin’ at me
in the 7-eleven
under fluorescent lights

and all my ghosts were with me
i know you felt them too
watching as i started to get dizzy
cause i hate all of my habits
but i happen to love you
i hope that’s true

That subtle Jacob Collier cameo! This song rips and the video is perfect!

YAYYYYYYYYY ugh. i love this one. how r we feeling about another addition to the lizzy cinematic universe
  • Her ex being in the mirror at 1:42 was actually so brilliant. This whole trilogy is such a vibe.

The subtle detail of Lizzy handing the cashier (I see you, Jacob) a Euro note, mistaking it for a dollar note, is so good. It means they've been travelling abroad, spending quality time together vacationing and just loving life with each other. It's so beautiful

Oh my goodness this is so good! It’s literally three songs in one story. Doomsday is about breaking up with her boyfriend which was at the football field and then erase me is about coping with that break up and at the end she goes to the same field and sees him at the same exact place she saw him last even with the face paint (which I didn’t really understand, if anyone knows please let me know) and then in all my ghost 3 years later she got a new boyfriend but her ex still haunts her as you see it’s the same guy at the end of this music video as the guy in doomsday and erase me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen other artists (besides musicals) make a story like this into multiple songs it’s amazing. I was trying to look for other little details of this story in the music videos but couldn’t find any at the moment. Let me know if you found some.

The outfit on the thumbnail?? chef’s kiss.
  • Lizzy’s attention to detail and her ability to pull you in to her feelings has been there since her initial instagram posts, her travel blogs. I always felt her intuitive magic…her platform will continue to grow and we will continue to see her innate storytelling. It’s so relatable, she has captured our hearts.
  • @samarkriaa
after hearing this song on SoundCloud for a long time I'm glad to see this happening
  • @Farbror.
I'm such a fan. There's not a single song that you've made that isn't a top tier classic.
  • if u guys didn’t know, lizzy actually writes about things that happend to her irl and its so cool to see these songs come to life and understand the lyrics in another level
  • @jmunt
The ending was so relatable it was physically painful, in a good way; thank you for making me feel so deeply with your music
  • @user-oo6zw2lp3g
love this sound so much. the electric guitar like bells, the layered vocals soft and thick like gauze or silk
  • This song makes me cry happy tears. It is so so so beautiful and comforting when you find that person who will love you even with all of your “ghosts”. Being someone with a lot of them this song just touches a tender part of my heart and reminds me how happy I am that I found my person :)) thank you Lizzy
  • this album is gonna be an emotional rollercoaster and tbh im here for it
