I've put together a computer before but it was over a decade ago. I remember hating the tedious process of cable management so I was going to hire GeekSquad to come to my house to put it together for me. When I asked them if I need to provide the thermal paste, they didn't know what thermal paste was and put me on hold for 10 minutes to figure out what I was trying to ask. it was at that point I cancelled the appointment and decided I would just do it myself. And now I'm here.

Hi Linus Tech Tips. Just wanted to say thank you guys. I built my very first PC today. I know its a 40 minute video, but taking it slowly, I still roughed out at around 4 hours. AND IT WORKS! I'm on my new gaming pc as I type this. Thank you =] :) :) Thank you for the video tutorial, I watched this nearly 4 times and along while I built it. This replaced my gaming PC(pre-build) which I had for almost 10 years. Thank you =) .

Great tutorial! I like the systematical way you planned everything and put everything together, keeping the next steps in mind to avoid problems. It's also nice to be informed about possible obstacles at every step. In my opinion this is a perfect tutorial which is focused on the most important things. Will definitely recommend this one to diy PC builders.
