One is old and jaded by a mysterious history - the other one still young, vivid and curious. Destiny has brought these two together and it seems as if they would exist without possibility for change, until one day a visitor to the clearing brings something unexpected to their lives.

  • I just realized that the white flower can only appear in places where things have died. She rose from the dead of the red flower's family, and now others of her rose amongst the dead deer's remains.
  • I watched this animation many years ago as a kid and I remember it kind of scared me. Watching it now, I'm amazed by how it still sort of holds up to time. Quite a beautiful video, I'm glad I remembered it after all these years.

I saw this many years ago and it is still as beautiful and touching as it was then. Amazing craftsmanship.
  • The red flower seemed selfish, wanting to be beautiful by hurting the white one. She really just wanted to get her poison back to help the white flower achieve her goal; to become something bigger and more beautiful then she already was. This is beautiful ❤️

In the end, the white flower not only became part of something bigger, but she finally reached the sun.
  • there are so many interesting ways people see this video. it shows how diverse our perspectives are

Firstly i thought that the red flower was bad one, But when he sacrificed his own live to protect the white flower, surprisingly he proves that he was soo good !!! And the beautiful quote was " the most beautiful things, often times, are the most dangerous" sooooo beautiful !!!!

The red flower looked like an asshole Because she was full of hatred and bad violent and cruel words. But in the end she saved the white flower, killed the enemy AND helped her friend to reach her dream : Become something bigger. It's a beautiful movie. Very strong impact. The naive one struggled but lived a better life in the end. The one who was obsessed with revenge ended frustatred and.. dead. The two flowers were brave. Amazing. Also they were beautiful, amazing faces and personality. The realism was crazy. The person who realised this is very talented.

how the red flower said. "the most beautiful things, often times, are the most dangerous." then later the red flower becomes all pretty and such.

It's interesting how people interpret the movie a little differently from others. Though most of the comments think Red is vengeful, I saw it as angry and protective over white. But also accepts that the deer makes White happy so Red 'gave' White the deer. Albeit with a cost. I find Red kind despite the harsh appearance and words. It's just angry about what happened to it's family, but I think the intention to kill the deer came to be with White's happiness in mind. Regardless if I see it as intended by the creator, this piece is just beautiful. <3

In the end, she did become part of something bigger than herself, which is what she wanted.
  • He save the white flower and he get revenge for his family. Nice ♥

THE RED FLOWER 🌹 was hurt inside she lost all her family and she was also wounded and bleeding that's why the bugs were eating her, she wanted revenge but she also felt compelled to the innocence of the white flower because she new that deer was no magical beast but a creature who would just eat her, the red flower got her poison back and not only got revenge but she also sacrifice herself to protect the white flower

Many find this profound and beautiful. I guess so? The lessons I've learned here are: Don't trust anyone, nature is unforgiving and cruel, and if you unintentionally and unknowingly hurt someone, eventually they will poison you to death and you will never know why you died. Then flowers will grow out of your slowly decomposing corpse. Have a nice day!
