  • @Sherrianjum
Hi , DR, thank you for your channel, if I want to do paediatric residency do I do all paediatrics observationship or mix with others like one paediatric and another internal medicine or family medicine?
  • Does the method of contacting physicians works for getting an elective rather than an observership?
  • Is Research and Clinical experience a must to be matched into United States ,or it’s just an added advantage
  • @cagrbelli2561
Thank you for the video. If I arranged an Observership through email. Can Preceptor allow me to assess medical records, or writing notes ?
  • @gadr12345
As an img what are the best months to apply for electives during a year? And is it better to apply for electives in same location or different locations?
  • Is it possible that i do 2 years of my medical in my own country and then vomplete the remaing years in us? Cz in this way i would be more connected to their physicians and health system so it would be easy gor rsidency
  • @ranaali1391
If you want to match into plastic surgery program, but you can’t find USCEs but instead did a clinical rotation in an american association in another country like cleaveland clinic in Abu Dhabi would that be enough /acceptable to apply for the match? With research positions in the us as an addition to ur cv ?
  • Hi Malke Asad, thanks for ur details of observership for IMG's. I would like to know,if there is any institutions in NY ,providing hands on observership,(clerkship ) in paediatrics as iam coming to USA in sept 23 after my step 2 for doing observership in a pvt clinic 1st programmed already,&next one wants hands on if paid also for LOR.And also whether I will b able to apply for residence matching programme in sept23 itself.? is that u need to upload the LOR before itself this yrs matching programme
  • @A2Z84
Hi Doctor, I need your advice. I am an IMG and USA citizen. Before med school I’ve been a nurse for many years and worked in many hospitals in USA. I have my former nurse manager and a cardio surgeon whom I’m certain can help me match when it’s time (inshaa Allah). The problem is I need a usce or a simple clinical rotation (observership) now for my school requirements for the semester but I don’t want to fall on these few people who can help because I am kind of reserving them for my final year when I am more comfortable or experienced and knowledgeable so that I can do observation or hands on with them. These way I can answer questions and perform assessments easily to impress them. This can make it easier for matching or LOR when needed. Do you thing I am reasonable with that or it doesn’t matter if I use them now? The problem is without them I might have to pay for the observation somewhere else.
  • Hi Malke Asaad, thank you so much for this great information, literally this video covers everything i was looking for....but i have one question that why no details about hospital are mentioned on match guy website. I contacted match guy company and asked the hospital name, but they said sorry we can't reveal the name of hospital or physician until you sign up. How can someone deposits 3500$ by just knowing the location but without knowing the hospital name?
