  • This gave me the strongest "I can tie my own shoes, MOM!!!" energy ever
  • @Tommy_111
Interesting you mentioned that Daemon's suicide mission was because he would rather die than let his brother help. Interesting because earlier in the episode when Viserys says he is sending his brother help, Rhaenyra asks, did he ask for help? And Viserys' response is 'he would rather die'

I feel like the crab-feeder is the sort of character you don't want spoiled. It was best he was short lived, otherwise he would've just become another scheming lord. A short run lets him best be mysterious and unsettling.
  • Daemon is right. His remarks on Otto, his initiative to join Velaryon on the Steps... I guess he's done being underestimated and overlooked. He's violent? Sure. Very. After all he's a Targaryen. Fire and Blood all the way. Love your content and the outfits, Georgia!
  • Yes, I love Daemon’s character! He’s not solely motivated by good nor evil and has such determination. I think this episode was very artistic in that it drew comparisons between Viserys deliberate killing of a helpless innocent stag and Rhaenyras killing of a wild beast in order to protect herself. I think it shows that her and Daemon are motivated by self preservation, considering their titles are both threatened. The shots of both her and Daemon with the bloodied triumphant stares is so cool!
  • Matt Smith has always been a good actor and Im glad House of the Dragon have him a good role where he can really act. He doesnt speak at all in the last act of the episode. Matt’s face and body language tells us all.

Daemon might be an overly-aggressive type, but I always respect any leader that's willing to go out onto the front lines and take on the risk themselves 😊

I feel like what a lot of westerosi forget about Aenys and Maegor is that at one point when they were ruling together basically, they were even stronger than when they were apart. I feel like if Viserys sat on the throne hosting the feasts and charming lords while Daemon was at his side putting down rebellions and looking out for him all seven kingdoms would be better for it.Viserys’ kind forgiving nature would essentially balance out Daemon’s cruel violent uncouth impulses. Daemon could encourage Viserys to have more backbone and not to trust people so easily.
  • You have more insight and knowledge of battle tactics than all of the people who are complaining about plot armour. Thank you! Matt Smith has been my fav actor for a long time. I’m totally biased😊
  • Minor correction: Golden Cloaks not Golden company. I love that Damon energy. "No, I don't want your help, after you banished me. I spent 3 years cleaning up the problem you let fester so your Master of ships doesn't bail on you. I'm out here working so you can keep eating, and now you want to help? No, it's my win. And fuck your messenger, and fuck that snake Otto." I was feeling it if you can't tell. :)
  • @ThaSpeedsterZ
In the book, Daemon beats a different messenger, but this is definitely in his wheelhouse.. lol
  • @heeya5948
Daemon Targaryen perfect. But it's in his flaws that's us viewers can relate to our own experiences and emotions. Kudos to Matt Smith, no one could have done it better
  • @33drewster
Daemon didn't want help from his brother the king so he charged ahead alone which got his men fired up and he took what he wanted
  • Couldn't agree more about how engaging the Crab Feeder's performance was. Looking forward to what you do next :)
  • - steps in - surrenders - raises hell - doesn't elaborate further
  • @PeyotZET
Thank you for these insights. They're entertaining and thought-provoking!
  • @MrHuff-wc8mw
I think if you did an episode about, "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" would be great. In particular focusing on Waymond I think would be very heartfelt.
  • @TealWolf26
I always appreciate your enthusiasm and literacy in the material you talk about! This was a fun episode.
