  • a little detail to note is that throughout the movie Hector is barefoot, but at the end when he's on the bridge with the family he has shoes on 😊😊😊. They made him a pair once he was accepted into the family again.

My friend and I, who are totally uncomfortable when it comes to showing emotions with each other, thought it was a good idea to watch Coco together. IT WAS A BAD IDEA. We were sitting on both ends of the couch and sobbing silently, hearing those sniffles from each other 😂😂

I am a Spanish teacher. I showed this to my 5th graders for Dia de los muertos, and I COMPLETELY forgot how sad it was!! I was sitting in the back of my classroom trying not to have any of my students see me cry! 😂

RIP the actual abuela Coco that inspired this movie and recently passed away. Rest in Power, queen.

The fact that coco remembering her father and his song after being sung to is backed by science makes me love this movie even more. Alzheimers and dementia patients have shown increased cognition and memory retrieval after singing familiar songs, and songs are often the last thing to go. Being the granddaughter of an end stages alzheimers and dementia patient, this movie ripped out my heart. It released around the same time as my grandma's major decline, and I saw a lot of mama coco in her. She even used to put her hair in pigtails. Love you grams 💜

The ending made me so happy, how they reunited with CoCo and Ektor got everything he deserved. This movie made me cry especially because I am someone who loves my family. Props to the writers and the animators, very well done

The song 'Remember me' My brother and I used to jam to this song together this was our favourite song sadly I lost him this week and I couldn't resist listening to this song once again, brings back all those good memories we shared together while he was here with me. I miss him a lot
  • So Dante the dog is actually a xoloitzcuintli a breed from Mexico that is actually said to be spirit guides to the departed souls to lead them through the afterlife. 😊
  • @GayAndDog
I'm from México, and something I'll never forget was when I watched the movie in cinemas with my family. When the scene of Miguel singing "Recuerdame" to Mamá Coco everyone cried. I saw my sister and dad crying their eyes out and they two never, NEVER show their emotions lmao. This movie is truly Mexican, the family side of my mom is EXACTLY like that and everytime we see the movie she gets nostalgia <3

Your reaction at 33:43 tho! 🤣🤣🤣 “Shut up! Shut up! It’s the missing… (proceeds to squeal like Donald Duc
  • @JupiterThndr
What makes Remember Me even more special is that Hectors voice actor Gael Garcia Bernal sang the song to his own daughter who voices young Coco.

what's actually a great detail is that– the songs that hector wrote weren't meant to be happy or upbeat. It was a song full of sadness and patience and a reminder to others. Its a great detail. Small, but relevant.
  • This movie was an emotional rollercoaster with plot twists leaving you confised but later the tears will come down or flow. This movie touched our hearts and really related to some of us viewers. I highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • I love how they let everyone feel smart when they "figure out" that the grandfather is de la Cruz, only to hit us with the sike stick later.
  • never cry during movies but this was the first one to do so … now i can’t stop any time i rewatch this or any other disney movie!! 😭😭 swear they put somethin in this one
  • This movie always makes me cry because when they sing the “ remember me” lullaby it reminds me of my dead family members 😭 ( but always be positive)😊
