I love the shot of the devil himself in the cage. As though in his attempts to trap the one he loves, he’s trapped himself in a cage of grief because the angel doesn’t love him back. In the beginning, he tries to literally cage the angel, but when the angel dies, the demon traps himself in grief because the angel told him, in the most literal way, “you will never have me.”

I would watch a whole series dedicated to this story.. The art is gorgeous

I love how the angel specifically choose to end their life right as the demon seemly got their way, only for the rug to be pulled under. It's like they are trying to signal "You did this to me, you took everything from me cause your selfishness and now I'm taking everything away from you."

I don’t know if this was the lesson but here’s what I got. You can’t force one to love you🧐

I love how there's symbolism and metaphors everywhere, the cage, the flowers/ offerings, the photos of the angel, the sculptures in the devils room, the window that overlooks the angle and the cage he's trapped in, and the death of the angel everything is a metaphor and represents certain themes and types of people and there behavior in toxic relationships The person or people who made this video did an excellent job of carrying out the themes of the animation, I loved the art style and colors used for this absolutely breathtaking.

I like the symbolism in the end. The devil literally caged himself in this vicious cycle.

Ok but the ending with the demon appearing to also be in the cage now, but with no path out, is VERY good framing.

Moral of the story: You can't forcefully make someone to like or love you

I really felt this. My whole life, I've been forced to give affection (Non-romantic) to a lot of people, specifically my ex-stepdad. The only way you can escape these people is to cut them out of your life. The angel was trapped in, essentially, a living hell. I honestly would have done the same in this situation, and I have never felt a random animation so deeply. This is beautiful, sad, and delivers an important message that toxic relationships are often soul-sucking, depressing nightmares that are over-fantasized in social media. So incredible.

I love this and at the same time I’m very sad that both had a bad ending, but you can’t just put feelings on to someone else. You should try to be patient and be yourself, and be thoughtful and kind. Even if they reject you, you still shouldn’t act forceful towards them or yourself.

I think the true meaning is that you can never cage someone up and force feelings onto them ? Like a bird in a cage who can not be free ? What does this video mean to you ❔ Also please think before you write.. don’t follow what other people are doing and decide to write nasty things. I am aware that it’s obvious but im looking at the beauty in things and asking it in question to possibly as you what does it mean to YOU?

the animation and story is so beautiful, rip angel. He knew this was the only way to escape from that demon's toxic love

Addressing toxic relationships and power imbalances over romanticized in media so well. Just because the demon’s hot doesn’t excuse what an awful person he is for trying to force the angel to love him. Literally caging him, isolating him, and threatening his friends. The angel did what he could to be free from that hell

This is gorgeous. The animation style fits the story really well, it's softness contrasts how tragic the plot is and I think that's beautiful

I love the artstyle and the story so much. I had it in my watch later for awhile and I’m so glad I finally watched it. You can get such a powerful story and message across without ever saying a word. I could watch a whole series about this.
