Happy Belated Birthday Meimei, I love watching your videos! As someone who has worked at a boba tea place before I can say that there are quite a few factors as to why the boba quality can be inconsistent. Different workers make the boba at different times/days and some do a better job making it than others (some people skip steps or cook the boba for too short or long). Also, depending on the amount of traffic the shop is getting, the boba could have been sitting there for a while unless they have a protocol to only make a certain amount at a time or keep it for a certain amount of time. Overall, boba consistency is pretty hard for a boba tea shop to have unless there's serious training and evaluations.

Happy Belated Bday! I actually saw you and Bird there and wanted to say hi but was too shy. Love all your food reviews!! I actually show up for a second in your video hehe so honored :D I could not agree more about the mushy boba lol and the ginger was a VERY odd addition to the kimchi bokkeumbap at Paradise Garden Grill! Also your mom's not in this video but love her and I've adopted saying "so delish" all the time!

First up: Happy birthday! In the video I saw the green tea horchata and I REALLY want to try that! I'm Mexican and horchata is one of my favorite drinks out there. It's always kind of cute and funny when people pronounce the H on spanish drinks as well Haha- I just wanted to say the graininess from the horchata is usually a standard thing. You either like it or you dont- personally I dont like it, which is why I dont put my straw all the way at the bottom! If you drink regular horchata in the future you'll get the grainy texture too- but some sometimes don't!
