In this video, we show you what day 2 and day 3 of the Ha Giang Loop is like when doing the Loop Anti-clockwise. We knew that the second day was going to possibly be the best day but we also had no idea what was in store for us.
The ultimate goal was to do Mã Pí Lèng Pass Viewpoint & the Bến thuyền hẻm Tu Sản where we could take a boat and travel through a piece of moutain that looked like it was sliced out of the mountain. Day 2 honestly had the best views and the biggest mountains that it is something you have to experience for yourself.
Day was a day of disaster. It was the longest day and also the day that it decided to rain non stop. Although this added to the adventure, it was also a little dangerous as the roads were very slippery and we also passed a section where the road was covered with mud and caused traffic jams like we have never seen before in Vietnam.

Such an epic trip with epic friends. The boat journey was just incredible. Shev was completely unfazed by the shot of alcohol you took. And the Go pro prank from Leanne certainly taught Dan a lesson. You guys definitely made the right decision to go the 'wrong' way judging by the massive convoy of bikes heading opposite you.

I've just started watching your videos, and you guys are addictive to watch! I was lucky enough to the loop in 2021 (full-on Covid time) while living in VN. Things were MUCH quieter then, with only a few places open. But it's nice to see all the familiar places again. You had really beautiful weather in the beginning, but it wouldn't be an adventure without some riding in clouds and rain. My only advice for others who are considering the loop is: 1. Three days is really too short. Try for 4, even 5. No point riding in the dark 2. Make sure your helmets are well fitting 3. I understand shorts & T-shirts are normal attire, but think about what happens if you are unlucky to take a fall. Jeans, long sleeve shirt (or jacket) & gloves .... Be safe, and enjoy!!

I enjoyed your trip on the Ha Giang Loop it was magical for me just sitting on my couch in the U.S. You kids were great, so upbeat and happy it was a joy to ride with you all. I am a young at heart 68 year old from Ohio making plans of my own to ride the Ha Giang loop, kind of a bucket list thing. Love you all…Safe travels

The happy water is a moonshine, a cultural practice done by the locals, especially by the Hmong in that area. They can get pretty strong, I know because I'm Hmong and we get a taste once in a while in the U.S. (g-14 classified of course).
