  • Man... I can't believe I've been picturing my clothing without my piece... what a rookie I am! 😅

For the shorts and pants I always take pictures of Inseam, the front rise and leg opening, using the ruler. For the shirts, jackets, and sweaters I also add a picture of the shoulders measurements , seam to seam. I have been selling on EBay for 15 years, I got maybe two or three returns a year.
  • So good I am changing my photo arrangement but I got a drafting table am putting plywood on and have to find my covering. This way I can change the angle if needed. Such great ideas!

i always show the care tag as it does ask in the item specifics and it only takes another quick shot and when you get into silks , cashmere , wools and such the care changes , i don't leave any open doors. I use almost the exact same set up with a plastic wall hook attached behind the throw blanket your using , same ! lol .. with an easel i can lean it back and many times no need to use a hanger , the effect looks great ! also learned to use some lighting i rigged up using long tube lights i got at goodwill for 2 bucks, attached to some mic stands i had. Works great and solves color issues with greys, dark greens and black. I did also figure out a way to show the whole yardstick with no hand in the pics but thats a trade secret ! lol..... good info! always enjoy your vids ! The 511 button flys ! they sell fast ! and no danger of a zipper ! lol !

  • Hey there Young Man. Thanks for the informational video. I'm new to selling on eBay 3 weeks now, and starting to list clothes. These steps are actually what I've been looking for and you helped me out a lot. Once again, thank you sir, and you gained a new subscriber today....me😁

Excellent content! I shoot a lot of clothes for ebay, and I usually end up taking clothes outside for color verification. Our yard has a nice weathered fence that makes a good backdrop. I like your use of the yardstick in the photos, as I'm tired of listing measurements in my descriptions. I have a dress form that I use once in a while, but I had one customer who'd never seen one before and gave me my first negative in a DECADE!
