I am based here at the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus wherein there is a fixed date of Eid in their Islamic calendar.
So, today April 21,2023, starts the EID AL FITR here.
Am greeting too in Turkish Language
IYI BAYRAMLAR KUTLU OLSUN.
In the Philippines and other countries they haven't started the celebration yet because they haven't seen the crescent moon yet.
Not unless you see the crescent moon or moonsighting you cannot declare the celebration of the end of Ramadan and likewise the end of the fastings.
EID MUBARAK everyone even to non Muslims and may Allah bless us all!!
