Starting A Landscaping Company From Scratch! Here's How We Did It!

Publicado 2024-06-30
After previously owning a landscaping business in college, I knew I wanted to own one again one day! Today is that day! This time, I'm doing things differently and starting with the trailer I always wished I had in college!

Anyone who hires you will be very fortunate to have you do their work. Congrats.

You might think about adding one (or two) more piece of equipment. " Fire extinguishers".
  • Wow!!!! What an awesome trailer set up. Well worth the wait. We wish you much success in your Cutting Edge Lawn Care business. 👍👍

Unbelievable how much you are capable of accomplishing with the ranch job, the family, the house and now your new career…

I'm speechless...AWESOME job on the floor, bench setup. I would suggest however, you install a few solar panels on the roof of the trailer with a matching battery to support your electrical needs. And - The name you decided is 'SPOT-ON'...Good luck sir as I know you will do well!!

Excellent!!! Congratulations and best wishes for success! Here's an idea for you... as part of this channel, every once in a while, chose veteran or elderly person, go in fix up their yard by mowing, weed eating, trimming trees or bushes (one time deal), video it and write it off for donations or advertising. Plus it would be a good deed.

Holy crap....I thought it was gonna be a used type setup all of the way around and you dun went Big Leagues on the entire setup!!! Very organized, great looking top notch equipment!
  • Hi from WV!! That is one nice set up!! I knew that when you got all of the trimmers, etc. and then the trailer, I knew that you were going to start a landscape business!! That was a no brainer!! I'm looking for the install of your lights and fans!! Stay safe in the Texas heat!!

The trailer is to die for. Well done!

Awesome trailer, congratulations. Love the DeWalt battery power supply and forward work area. All the best… Now get to mowing.😊

Kevin I just couldn’t rap my head around this one. I saw from your previous videos with all the lawn equipment that might suggest some type of lawn business but that trailer is not a landscaping trailer, at least I’ve never seen one used for landscaping. I hope your business is a booming success. By the way you made us wait long enough.

Good stuff! Brings back memories when I started my landscape business about 8 years ago (still in business).

Awesome Kevin! I did the same as you, mowed yards while in high school and then later in life for a side hustle. Started small and grew it as the demand went up and my name got around. Never got to big enough to sell it out but kept me busy after working 10-12 hour days and on the weekends. Being in Michigan, snow shoveling and snow blowing was the next move and kept me outside as well. Can not wait to see where you go with your business and definitely keeps the entrepreneur side of you young and growing. The enclosed trailer is an awesome idea and makes absolutely the best sense for lawn care equipment, business in a box that is safe and secure all the while organized and ready to go at a moments notice. Side thought, a small bench vice would be super handy to have for the work bench, great for clamping the chain saws in to sharpen the chains or sharpening a mower blade or what ever else you may need it for. Long comment to say: great video and keep them coming. 👍🏻👍🏻
