  • If you want a short cute to this achievement, you can lose the war and revoke your cores afterwards. You get the achievement all the same:)
  • random new world is actually fire. especially if you get the easter egg nations in it
  • What i wish they would do with eu5 is just.... give us like... 4 or 5 start dates, one per century or age, like. You got the base start date(cant remember it) 1444, then you got 1550, the peace of westphalia after that. Then you get the last start date that is right before the 7 years war
  • ahh yes the bookmark , the thing that make ashikaga 9th reform hre
  • I actually love later start dates. I think that buildings dev and astronomical amounts of cannons are what kill the fun in the lategame which is why the best years in a campaign are almost always the starting 50 where none of that exists. I actually have modded my game to make buildings and dev really costly and i have produced amazing campaigns through that
  • I'd be interested in seeing playthroughs in the bookmarks.
  • I did a US run about a month ago. I started on the earliest bookmark the 13 Colonies are present in. Being able to conquer other colonies land without their overload defending them is broken. Starting around 1730 or so, I was able to conquer all of North America by 1821. I made a huge mistake once by taking an Admin tech right before getting something like 400% overextension, and I was over 200% overextension so long, spain was able to declare war on me and made it impossible for me to core provinces until the war was over.
  • @TheJimmy11
Timestamps like these shows how silly colonial powers like Spain are. The reason they have that much forcelimit is because of their colonies. Even if you completely ate mainland Spain, they would still have 100+ forcelimit (and thus loyal colonies) which is simply stupid. Colonies are waaaay too loyal.
  • Well if you are going to do a obscure play through in the new world how about a Random New World as Vinland and do a Coastal World Conquest.
  • @IquonYT
Love the bookmarks. I thought that is what the game is about? Openong it, scrolling through timeline and bookmarks and closing it after 7 hours. Never noticed that start button you clicked on 😇
  • The Bookmarks and stuff made more sense in CK2 and EU3. I used to use them just to play certain scenarios. But these days the mechanics are so different, etc. Edit: I mean in EU4, the mechanics are super different from even when EU4 launched, not just different from EU3.
  • @Times_Ticking
awesome! the bookmarks show how freaking power creep has occurred like colonization speed
  • quarbing, great video as allways
  • So britain is protestant not only because the bookmarks weren't updated, but also because for some reason anglican is DLC locked (i have no idea why honestly. I'm not even sure if norse is). Hussite is definitely there because they didn't update the bookmarks though, they probably added a province and never touched the history file.
  • You didn't have to go that hard on old 1776 EU4... 😅
  • Great content, you are pretty unique on your channel, keep being you all Class. You’ve been talking about the Random New world for a few times now since your Iroquois videos, you should do it! Hopefully you get some good RNG and have nations like the Burning Empire or the secret Chinese nation in it that would be fun! Looking forward to your next video regardless
