I think the most surprising thing for me when i started getting into anime was just how good the music was consistently. Great covers... but that first one, Brothers, is just incredible.

listening to the Voilet Evergarden songs immediately brought back vivid scenes as the music played, it's been months since I last watched it, a year even, yet the emotions and the scenes came just as strong as it was the first time I saw them
