Would actually watch a 2 hour movie about Bastion and that bird
-
So the bird is his therapy pet?
-
Even after all these years the concept of a robot with ptsd still makes me cry so hard
-
These animated shorts are like a time capsule of how things used to be. Like hanzo’s scatter arrrow, the self-repair arm bastion used to access the memories of the Omnic War is no longer a part of his kit in OW2.
-
Good work Mr.Woodpecker you just triggered a Vietnam flashback.
-
He's so cute and peaceful except for when he gleefully blows my entire team to smithereens with no mercy after humming the victory tune
-
6 years later, now realising the title last bastion, isnt just about bastion being the last of his kind but also a bastion in the sense of a last hope for omnics
-
I love how in 6:09 they put the last bastion right in the dead center between the city and the forest. It symbolizes that it has a choice, really clever of the animation team!
-
Cinematic: Kind angel In-game: emotionless killing macine
-
No talk, but a lot of feelings...
-
A little birb snapped Bastion out of killing many many innocent lives. Thank the birb
-
love how everyone thought of this when they saw the wild robot trailer
-
Other games: "Gun is gun" Blizzard: "Gun has PTSD and moral dilemmas"
-
I want a bastion, but god forbid a woodpecker comes near my house
-
6 years later this is still one of if not the best animated short they've ever created
-
3:43 even though he doesn't have a face you can still see the absoluut horror he is feeling
-
he was covered up with all that moss and grass because he was camping in the corner too long
-
No dialogue, no facial expressions, all emotion. Still the best.
-
Still insane to me that this is one of the most respectful and tasteful portrayal of PTSD out there
-
This character is literally the only reason why I played overwatch when I was younger
