【Hana Hope Comment】 I am honored to be singing the anniversary song for "Fate/Grand Order," a game that continues to fascinate fans around the world. As I sang this song, I identified with these characters who persevere in the face of adversity, because I too am on my own musical journey. I would be happy if this trailer, along with my song, colors the FGO world even brighter than ever!

English Version Lyrics:
In the silence of a world wearing a veil of misty rain
Suddenly, I saw how cold the face of truth could be
I’ve been wondering, how far beyond the sky the clouds will go
Holding no more than their own weight
Countless voices in the air, clash in conflict here and there
And the scarlet life within us shower down upon the ground
What is the reason why, for whatever we desire
We keep searching for something else to sacrifice every time?
The flowers swaying helplessly
The wind is raging endlessly
What else shall we let go
To live our lives the only way we knew
The birds are soaring in the sky
So high above us all, we who cannot fly
We dragged our wounds behind us
And kept walking on
Somewhere far beyond the skyline
Someone whose name we don’t even know
Holds a fire inside their heart that burns them from within
That color, and the pain that it caused
We already know it, we’ve seen it grow
Soon, the path we walk will intertwine
Like flowers swaying helplessly
Like winds that sweep across the green
What else shall we pursue
To live our lives the way we wanted to
Unlike the birds that soar the sky
We have no wings, and though we won’t learn to fly
We stand above the earth now
And keep walking on
Trusting it all

I can't believe Fate put both the Folly of Man and the Indomitable Human spirit in one video.
  • @saltrxn
Seeing Saber indulging in carefree joy will always make me cry. Happy Anniversary, Fate/Grand Order!
  • @33ND101
“We Heroic Spirits are merely shadows of times long past, people like you who live in this time are treasures to us, everything we fought for was for the sake of the future.” -Karna
  • @xawes6032
This is not a love letter from Fate to the fans. This is a love letter from Fate to the historical and fictional characters, the inspiration for this franchise and this game. Even if they're stories from the past, even if the world changed, we didn't forget them.
  • @craxnor
"Humanity's last master calls for aid." "AND WE SHALL ANSWER!"
  • @DarkSnake78990
Fate doesn't shy away by telling us that "Yeah humanity sucks, humans sucks" but damn, it also does a great job telling that Humanity is worth fighting for despite all of our flaws. One of the last shots (the one where time rewinds) made me teared up
  • Seeing French WWI soldiers resting around a statue of Joan of Arc felt incredibly poetic. Once again, holding the line in a war that had no clear end in sight.
  • @Argamep
That sequence of: -Iskandar watching the Fall of Constantinople -WW1 soliders resting on a statue of Jeanne d'Arc -Statue of Karna in the Shadow of a modern highrise. -Excalibur being overgrown. Really plucks at the heartstrings.
  • The best representation ever of the summoning and the throne. Seeing those who died just watching the fall of what they stood for, Merlin witnessing the unending, repeating cruelty of mankind, in that dark tone, only for the hand to pull them back to live again the light of their days, in the hope of getting their wish, or making the world better, made me almost tear up. And we all know the first question that will start this adventure: "Are you my Master?"
  • @ptilopsis4092
From Ritsuka Fujimaru point of view this feels like a tribute and thanks to all the heroes that answered the summoning for all this time.
  • @swagyolo8602
From 1:36 onwards, in order, we have Arjuna holding Karna's hand after defeating him, Iskandar witnessing Hephaestion's death, First Hassan holding the head of a Mongolian soldier who invaded Alamut Castle, Jeanne d'Arc holding a cross in her hands and praying to God before getting burned at the stake, Frankenstein's monster grieving because her existence was denied by her own creator, Victor Frankenstein, and Artoria, right before dying, ordering Bedivere to return the holy sword.
  • @paorousama
Ironically it wasnt the larger than life heroes that got me. Because they are legendary, almost mythic and fantastical, who wield great power and hold the destinies of entire nations and peoples in their hands It was the unnamed soldiers hugging each other in the face of such wanton destruction Because in the end we're fighting for that simple humanity
  • This is like everything I love about FGO condensed into a single video. And the singer killed it in multiple languages.
  • @crtwenty7294
Didn't expect an English version, nice work Aniplex
  • @Code_Lune
I love the part at 2:19, it shows the cruelty of mankind and Merlin being it’s sole observer for centuries and it really adds to his character. Despite the memes portrays him as this good-for-nothing mage, he still saw the all the despicable action of what mankind is capable of yet still chooses to help the master to take it back.
  • @arnoastra
ARTORIA’S EXPRESSION AS SHE LEAPED MADE ME SO HAPPY! Never would I thought to have seen such a smile on her face
  • @tommykaung5882
As a history nerd and anime fan, this is a love letter to me and it makes me cry. I hope we, as humanity, can go to a better future like our past heroes and ancestors hoped for despite our weakness, mistakes and cruelty throughout history.
  • Reaching out to our heroes of old, to save our world. This is a battle to reclaim our future.
  • @colinmcbottle
2 things that are very underrated in this video: - The reflection effects on metalic surfaces was incredible. Never felt Saber's amor so real. Same for the rest of the characters. - Type Moon achieved something that not even Disney could: a multiverse that unites different cultures via the servant's backgrounds, previous relationships + the ones formed in the FGO story, and also unites the jp media (manga/anime/games) because of the very diverse artist cas portraying these servants in the game. This draws a huge fanbase not only in JP, but in the whole world. From people just coming for the waifus, to the people being drawn in by the worldbuilding, or by 'rooting' for a servant coming from their own culture. This video encapsulates it very well with the selection of servants being portrayed and the Fate media they first debuted with.
  • @Yarzu555
Damn that scene of Merlin watching all the dying soldiers throughout history hits hard.
