2 EGGS NO STEAM NO BAKE LESS CHOLESTEROL FLAN
Note: This is for people who wants to enjoy custard but don't want to splurge on cholesterol from the yolk. Custards are made of eggs,sugar and cream as basic ingredients - This has it too!

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 3 minutes
Yields: 2 small llaneras

CARAMEL (ARNIBAL)
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp water

Combine both in a pan, use medium heat and allow to caramelize in 6 minutes until golden brown.
Immediately pour and divide among two llaneras.
Swirl around to fully cover the bottom. Set aside.

CUSTARD
2 eggs beaten
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whole milk (fresh milk)
3 tbsp custard powder
1 tbsp gelatin powder (you can add another 1 tbsp if you want a "FIRMER" flan.
1/2 cup sugar

Combine milk,custard powder,gelatin and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Pour in a sauce pan.
use medium heat.
Keep stirring for 3 minutes until smooth.
Slowly whisk into the beaten eggs until all combined.
Strain.
Pour into the llaneras.
Chill for half an hour until set and jiggly.
Run a knife around the edges before inverting into a plate.
Invert
Serve and enjoy.
