I think you're underestimating how dedicated your fans are when saying only 3 of us are going to watch the video completely! Personally I enjoy longer formats :)

Tony - Incredible that you could do a 48-minute video, all in one breath! I don't 'do' CNC, or have much understanding of electronic control systems, but I love your presentation style so much that it's a joy to watch you carefully explain the 'intimate details' of these systems. Also, hats off to you for the beautiful, almost magic lighting through the whole video!
  • This Old Tony channel: The only videos on youtube I rewind, not fast forward.
  • Personally, I'd change out the gravel in the " Y" ballscrew. I tend to like smooth river pebbles over crushed granite.
  • Yes!!!!! The long awaited bromance movie between a pair of hands and their german cnc mill!!!
  • "I forgot to wet the sponge" - This Old Tony letting us know right off the bat that he takes his humor like he takes his coffee: dark, sightly burnt, and smelling of ozone.
  • Just dropping some words of appreciation for your editing. You really learned to nail the balance between entertaining and informative in the DIY sector 🎉
  • Your 1 of 2 people that make machining funny and that's real talent! It's 3:14am on the north east right now and I'm sitting in the dark giggling out loud after a horse shit day! Thank you for all these years of entertaining me!
  • The first actual laugh out loud was the length of the "I hesitate to say this"
  • Honestly Tony, hearing you find your voice, grow more comfortable in your videos, and learning so much from you, has been awesome. :D

Thanks a lot for the shout out Tony. Another great video. You have put a lot into that Maho.

"...but it can become a rabbit hole if you keep thinkin' you could just get a little bit better." Truer words never spoken!
  • Your freaking cut-away visuals are the best freaking part of these videos. The subtlety and humor is fantastic.
  • FORTY EIGHT MINUTES! THIS IS A NOT A DRILL, I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! It's a mill, duh
  • @kazager11
    33:40 "I don't know why I'm opening this"..."I'm not opening this"...priceless!
  • @Jinnuksuk
I've never used, seen, touched, heard or smelled a CNC machine nor do I plan to do any of those at any point. But the sheer joy of watching This Old Tony being This Old Tony has taught me a lot more about CNCs than I'll ever need... I guess you could say my cup is now half full, I suppose.
  • not gonna lie, but i absolutely lost it at 11:45. "I hesitate to show this." I cracked myself laughing. Very well done.
  • 2 reasons (3 fingers), point number "b". I truly appreciate how smooth he dumbs around.
