Point Defense console failing to activate properly

Almost immediately after the start of the video capture, I clearly click on the icon to activate the Point Defense console, it has a 10 second action time, which it completely skips and goes directly into cooldown instead. it fires a total of three shots before it fails completely, and with all targets well within the 5km range. It actually fails about half the time I use it. I only had to make 5 videos to capture it failing, caught it on the fifth one. i have been having this issue since the day I put on this ship, just 7 days ago.
