Looking forward to the extraction process for the halide, its the only part of the process I have no knowledge of so it will be cool to see how its done.

I always thought Galena was a lead ore. Primary ingredient in galena should be lead sulfide. The galena in the town should have been argentiferous galena. (Which is galena with a decent amount of silver impurity)

I found chunks of led/silver slag, some only partially melted, one with two crimson colored sides. Heavy little rocks. Found near the old lake shore a mile west of Keeler.
