You never know know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors, Depression, Anxiety, Regrets, Trauma. When God gives you a new beginning it starts with an ending. Just found out I was pregnant yesterday ❤

Caught my 10 yr old listening to this in their room. I thought to myself, "maybe they need someone to talk to?" So parent-child trip is set for a 1 week's vacation to their favorite place and all the talking they need and want. Just the two of us sharing deep hearted things. I have to let them know I'm here while God still has me here for them. Gosh, I love my kiddo! Trip Update: We both enjoyed it, more tears than I thought (majority good than sad). They kept telling me "thank you" and we now have a set, "DESTRESS" day from school once a month when I keep her home and we'll go out and have fun (within pricing reason, lol). The only catch is, they have to be passing their classes (which is not a worry cause they do well). Thank you all for the love, I'm still growing as a parent and I'm happy I get to help my 10 yr old smile and share things with me willingly, goodness they still enjoy holding my hand in public, made me happy to know that.
