On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

  • What I loved about this vid was that you started explaining some of the aircraft systems in more detail during the engagement as they came up. Love that style. maybe try to incorporate that more into future vids, like mentioning each system and how/what are you using it for.
  • F-16: *drop tanks... explodes* F-16: *drop tanks... explodes* Last F-16: "I'm not dropping my tanks"
  • It might sound weird, but these BVR videos help me sleep better. The high altitude scenery and the RWR sounds are so relaxing
  • You know its going to be good when you show up and YouTube is saying there are six comments and only two are visible.
  • Great setup for the mission. And the Russian RWR info was very helpful. The Flankers equipped with modern BVR missiles are very capable.
  • I've definitely seen the flanker datalink display missiles as very fast contacts. I don't know exactly why but it does happen, probably because the AWACS can pick up the missile and sends that to DL if I had to guess. I've never had it happen in a mission without AWACS.
  • SAM sites: launches 3 missiles Datalink: OH NO 4 GUYS ARE ON YOU AT MACH 6
  • The Flanker and Tomcat are the still the finest looking fighters ever made.
  • having the R77 - 1 on the flanker is all it really needs to do BVR with bluefor on DCS. makes it a su35 essentially
  • @ege5804
Just got myself a HOTAS and started flying Flankers right from the get go. This is an amazing guide. Thank you so much. You never fail to bring quality content.
  • @adasaddas
13:10 meanwhile whatever life form that got absolutely obliterated by that missile:
  • GS I would love some more SEAD videos with a variety of aircraft keep the uploads coming!❤
  • It would be cool if you could coordinate and get actual people to fly opposing bandits
  • @hbladeh
Indeed the Flanker datalink sees missiles as hostile contacts, at least the ones big enough (such as AIM-54). Also you didn't see the last bandit because you were scanning in -1 and 0 so basically level and under you, and he was above. If you scanned +1 (maybe +2) you would've seen him straight away, keep an eye on those crosswise lines on the datalink contact :)
  • Been loving these BVR/Intercept videos! Keep them going.
  • @sentar_dv
I was aircraft technician on Su-27SM jets. It actually have 3 Multipurpose indicators (monitors) instead of one, and it's much more comfortable to use. I wonder if theres such modification in DCS.
  • Very cool video, really love the variety of airframes shown in these videos. Also bonus we get to see a landing at the end ;).
  • 12:02 Yes, the Datalink sees the missiles. They appear as hostile contacts with a SUPER LONG longitudinal vector (because, you know, they're missiles, so they go SUPER FAST). The datalink treats ALL missiles as hostile contacts, even missiles from friendly units. And it makes sense, because they're... well... MISSILES. They're dangerous.
