Duhan van der Merwe cemented his status as a Scotland great after becoming his country’s record male try scorer.

The towering wing crossed the line for the 28th time in a 31-19 win against Uruguay, taking him clear of Stuart Hogg as Scotland’s scoring supremo.

When Scotland is on they are one of the most enjoyable teams to watch, such tenacity and flair. Also, must be nice to have players like Finn Russell and Duhan van der Merwe on your team.
