His jawline is definitely inversely proportional to his sanity
  • @superidot1
Thanks to jreg I've begun my trans maxing journey from male to MALE I am now 7 foot tall and am 250 pounds of muscle. People are terrified of me, which is good because that's how I feel on the inside about myself, so it's very validating for me

JREG is so silly and goofy and funny and i have a real direct relationship with him that isnt parasocial and he loves me
  • @FireKeep
It's so nice of Serene to give this Completely Normal Neurotypical Normie Centrist Cisgendered Heterosexual Pro-Status Quo Man a platform to speak about these important topics! I look forward to seeing more 😃
  • @janikut_
Jreg, inspired me to become neurotypical again ❤
  • @flowerwall
Jreg makes more sense to me the more mentally ill I become. I am currently experiencing extreme health failure.

The rabbit hole I have been down just to end up back at JREG, I cannot escape.

this was the perfect conversation to unmask greg. you’re so authentic and kind it’s disarming, but you’re also smart enough to ask the right questions and keep the conversation on a high level. those awkward silences were perfect too

At the beginning of the interview, jReg jokes that his real name is "Anthony". In his "My Secret To Productivity" video, towards the end, he says he's a PhD and shows a jpeg of "Anthony Guevara" having a degree in "Mental Healthism". So, maybe there's some long running meta-joke shit going on (or maybe that's actually his name?)

Great job Serene, you really showed Jreg who's more sincere!
  • Jreg is the dude who is so self aware he holds 10 different contradictory ideas and identites of himself simultaneously and doesnt know which one he really believes, which one is really real/genuine. Thats the way i relate to and interpret his content. And he makes really cool werid connections and demonstrates them in a cool way that makes sense somehow without having to think about it for hours on end. He organizes the weird disjointed shit we think about but never bother to fully realize, and expresses and realizes them in a cool way. It resonates with me a lot. I think it really perfectly preserves the weird ambiguous nature of that whole thing, you wanna write smth down it becomes concrete sometimes, expressing and organizing ideas for some ppl tempts ypu to make up your kind. But thats when you lose the interesting novel ambiguous nature of it. Its super subjective but tries very hard to contain everything simultaneously which is what i think of what i imagine as objective, if i have to do that.
  • @no_george
I remember fighting alongside Jreg during the Bosnian war... so brave
  • @flynnfoil
Also, I wanna echo what Jreg said about the interview style -- it's cool. My journalism buddy says that's a technique where the person feels inclined to say more. I notice that while watching and it definitely seemed to encourage Jreg to peel back the layers of irony.
  • @mysteryblondee
I love JREG because the videos he makes are my actual internal dialoug that i have to supress to conform to society.
  • @carnetplank6259
I dont know how he managed to contain himself this much Edit: nvm
  • @Uhshawdude
This interview is frankly so much better than Jregs one with Sisyphus. Im impressed you managed to unravel his shell of 500 layers of whacky irony to actually get some interesting answers.
  • @skyjumper4097
jreg is so good at fluidly transitioning into and out of irony/sarcasm/whatev its called its amazing
  • This man is capable of being normal, he just prefers to not act normal bc its easier, it doesnt establish any expectations so he can never worry if hes meeting any, at least thats what im projecting onto him bc its also smth i relate to. You never commit to smth and identify w it, because that establishes norms and expectations that you can fail to meet, even if its a werid marginal identity, it still has norms that define it.
