A buddy of mine had come up from Florida specifically for this Pollock fishery. He got his ticket along with some other friends and family that were also going, by the time I got online they were sold out. Unfortunately one of our party had come down with the Vid. Fortunately for me, I took his spot. I did thank him the next day for the opening, as you can see it was crazy, non stop action, and I was very happy to take part. Although it was cold, windy, and wet, the seas were fine, and it was also some of the best Pollock fishing I have experienced in years. When you are cranking up a large Pollock or 3 from the depths of 100-200 feet of water, that tends to warm you up, and when they are coming fast and furious, you forget about the weather, aches, and smile through the pain. That reminds me of that Wet Willie Song! Keep On Smiling! Tight lines my friends!!!

    Get a little more cranking power by moving your handle to the last slot at the end. I have the same reel and love it. Is that 832 suffix?
