Brilliant session, wish it was like this on the south coast, nice ling, not had one in over 10 years
  • Great session and some nice fish. I have a boat based at a village near Whitby so I am very familiar with the grounds you were fishing and have had some tremendous trips over the years. But a tell you what I reckon. Cod is way more tasty than Ling! Anyway you will be able to Judge for yourself now with that 7 pounder. Great video and all the best.

Good session, long is great eating fish, your channel grows on you, enjoy the different venues, and seeing parts of home, being a native of anglesey, cemaes bay, so I did watch the one you guys did their, you fished a place I used to years ago, the doggie one, if you had gone further to left your on a mixed bottom, sand rocks etc, plaice, conger, pollack, coalie, even bass. Txs again

Great video and some lovely fish caught. Are ling good eating and what do they taste like? Fantastic professional job on the roof. So many cowboys in the southeast purporting to be roofers! Best wishes Dave broadstairs

Another great vid. Ling is nice to eat. My other half prefers it to other white fish. Can be nice and flakey when cooked. If they need to go back and swim bladder blown piece it with a very small hole and it will swim back and survive. Looking forward to next vid we'll done again .
  • Love you lad can you fish at Workington harbour, pier and shore please
  • @tobycook8135

  • Whitby does get hammered rich, still throws up some good fish though. I've had two double figure cod off the west pier.
