I’m an old hairdresser, and appreciate that you are educating women on details that make a difference!

Thanks for the tips!!! Can I please make a request??? I'd love to see a demonstration on the proper way to use pomade/wax in short hair. I'm afraid I'll use to much and make my hair look greasy and if i use too little, then it doesn't do much!!! Would really appreciate seeing some demos on this 🙂

I literally feel the MOST beautiful and Feminine when I have a pixie cut! I keep coming back to this cut too! Thanks for this video ❤

My hair goes flat as soon as i walk out the door! I have a pixie and have never tried a wax! I would love a video tutorial on how to texturize with a wax! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
  • Once you go pixie, you never go back. Thanks for all the tips, JUSTIN!
  • Immensely helpful for my new pixie. Just washed it, and used the nondirectional drying, and let the cut work for me. Like it much better. Thx. Appreciate your great tips.

Your explanations are excellent. What I like most is combining the actual performing of the function. This makes it easier to visualize the finished product. Good stuff!
  • Thank you so much! This has addressed so many of my questions about why pixies could be so flattering but sometimes aren't!
  • @lizwardo83
Great tips, found out I'm already doing some of these intuitively anyway! It helps that I have been going to the same fabulous stylist for years - she knows my hair inside out so works with it's weird kinks and flicks when she's cutting, so it just sits beautifully without too much styling

Hack #3 Non-Directional Drying blew my mind! I never once thought about the logic behind air-drying your hair and expecting it to behave the way you want it to behave. It makes total sense to me now why my hair won't do what I want it to do because I'm just hoping for the best...with no effort at all on my part. (In all honesty, the no-effort-part is exactly why I got a pixie in the first place, but, I'm so desperate to love my pixie that I'll take this tip and give it a try). Thanks so much for sharing your guidance with us!

That was timely! I was just having a “should I grow it” moment, now you’ve given me something to play with!
  • You are amazing! Lost my hair to chemo. Now have a pixie. Lots of compliments but don’t know what to do now that it is growing. This was such a help. God bless you ❤
  • @g3andrea
Love the tip of "non-directional" drying. I am working on this to lessen my cowlicks and to help add volume to the top of my bob. I have had "pixie" cuts in the past (...and long layered shags along with many other styles). Once I reach my desired target weight in my journey to better health, I might do a pixie again. Change can be liberating!

I just want to thank you for your videos! I enjoy them and always learn something new from them - lots in this one, especially texturising shears - I've never seen those before and they're now on my shopping list! I'm afraid I've given up trying to find a hairdresser who will consistently do what I want, so have been cutting my own hair for several years now. (Sorry if that offends hairdressers!) I love how you include styles for the more "mature" woman and those with different types of hair. Thank you Justin. x

As a lifelong former pixie wearer, I so agree about the tapering by the ears! I have a "football" shaped head, the widest point is eye/ear level. So whenever it started growing out, I got the "Bozo effect." 🙄🤡 Now if I could just find a stylist that actually KNOWS HOW TO DO A GOOD PIXIE CUT!!! (they're like a needle in a haystack!)
  • @lynnepopash2292
This is fabulous! I shared it with my stylist. Love the "M" hairline. So much for feminine and does draw the eye up!
  • I want to thank you for introducing me to Laifen! It dries my hair so fast and I generally use it on the medium to mitigate heat damage. I love it so much! 😃
