Excellent Video. I'm searching for battery/inverter solutions and your video came up.

I live in the keys, and was considering buying this generator. Trying to learn more about solar.

Great and informative video. Thanks for sharing. I have the basic DPU setup (1 inverter, 1 battery) that I am currently installing with a manual transfer switch. I will expand it appropriately based on my location and wanted functionality going forward. One thing I would highly consider is adding another inverter. More so for redundancy in case of an issue, at least you would still have one inverter to keep you going in the event a problem occurs. Nothing is perfect. I had trouble with my first unit. This also allows you to have more HV panels to expand if you want to be totally off grid in the future. Thanks again.
  • Thanks for the video! Basically a tesla powerwall but portable and you can add!
  • I wish I knew the Tigos were compatible, I ended up going with APsmart for my rapid shutdown needs
  • Great setup. Watching your video I went with Tigo Optimizers / CCA / Rapid shutdown for my panels and DPU setup. I've got two Smart Home Panel 2s with three Inverters on one and one inverter on the other panel..My rooftop solar arrays ground wire runs to the house ground rod per code (they require that vs. the main panel ground bus.) Do your arrays run to the ground rod? Just curious what the ground screw is for on the inverters - note in the manual....if code requires the arrays run to the ground rod, not sure what to do with the four inverters' ground screws. I noticed your inverter's ground screw has nothing connected to it.

Any way you can make a video of wiring behind the cable boxes? I understand you say "strait from the panel" a few times but, it will give us an idea of how it was done. I have seen videos but I don't like the idea of wire nuts on the breaker box in my house. You probably didn't use them and that's why I want to see how it was done. Thank you

This is awesome, learning about solar and wondering if this is designed specifically for North American markets or can I be bought, shipped and used in somewhere like UK?

This would make a VERY nice alternative to a diesel powered APU for a semi truck.

Hi Erick, great setup. I'd like to have a similar installation done for my house in Houston to complement the existing 10 kW PV system. Any recommendation for an experienced installer in Houston, TX?
