There is some more interesting dialogue with him when playing as a female drow. I made him give me his lantern for being rude and not knowing his place. Then he died from the curse.

Knowing the Drow and Lolth, Kar'niss must have done something terribly horrible. Like, speaking near a woman or something.

If your character is lolth-sworn you get the same dialogue options for this guy. Its hilarious being able to call him an abomination and still get his help despite him being a deranged psycho.

When you side with the harpers he's the one whose lantern you set out to steal Since I was playing a Lolth sworn drow myself I simply claimed that I was chosen as his replacement since clearly I am his superior I even got to convince him to walk into the shadows without the lantern Funnily enough Lolth doesn't get mentioned there, so I only just learned that his queen is the Absolute XD (In my defence, if a Drider talks of a queen it's easy to get confused)
