“If we hadn’t written all this code that doesn’t work as intended, none of this would be possible. So in a way this is our speed run too”
-
Steam: you have 2 hours to refund your game Speedrunners:

My favorite part... Developer: "Well no one thought the airboat section was too long." All 3 Developers: burst out in laughter
-
It was kinda sad and funny when one of the devs said "I wonder how he is gonna deal with the poison zombie, I worked on the poison zombie like all his effort is just being shaved through in a Matter of seconds
-
22:38 "I worked on the poison zombie" yOU IT WAS YOU
-
It's still unreal seeing Valve and their devs actually talk to us after being quiet for 10+ years.
-
"It's shooting at him from several levels ago." excuse me what
-
I love how excited the devs got about Lazlo, but then again, he was the finest mind of his generation.
-
Other game companies: "We spent 2 years making this game" Valve: "We spent 2 years making this one level"
-
"Follow Freeman!" *Gordon sprints to mach 1 and proceeds to soar into the air.*
-
18:35 guys that literally made the game “ where are we?”
-
27:00 That moment when you know the devs really love this game
-
"im thinking in the next game we..." THE WHAT?
-
At 40 mins in, when the devs told a story about how they only bumped up the enemy's damage and health for only one playtester to prank him was just pure evil lol.
-
These devs are hilarious. I'd listen to their podcast if they ever make one.
-
"Where we're going, we don't need crowbars." And thus, there was no crowbar in Half-Life: Alyx.
-
Combine: The humans are PATHETIC, they already lost in only 7 hours City 17 Explodes 40 minutes later Combine2:It was like a storm, i only saw him for 2 seconds going Through the sky
-
"Follow Freeman!" (Freeman takes off into the air at 80 mph)
-
Just for anyone wondering, what he's doing is something called "loadclipping". Basically the game has a bit of code that says that when you load a save and you are inside an object, you oughta be moved a little to another direction so you don't become permanently stuck. However, this lets you clip through entire walls and level loads in certain areas if you purposely trigger it in certain ways.

Bonking people in the head with a can to skip dialogue is one of the funniest speedrun strats I've ever seen
