  • Solhekul: "England will hire the best man for the job". Thanks mate, stellar revelation there man 👏😂
  • What are these people talking about ??? Pochetino is a succesful manager ?? Southgate is a succesful manager ?? How ? When ? Where ? Seriously ??!!!

Critical to remind ourselves success at club level does not always translate at national level. It's a different ball game... We've seen past WC winning managers who were never prolific at club level. Take Spain e.g., Luis Enrique has a stellar CV winning the lot with Barcelona, but it's De La Fuente who's built their current identity & style through the youth system.

How about the FA resign..they are out of touch.

I certainly think it’s the time to move on for England, but we do need to be careful what we wish for. He’s made the England team competitive again after years of mediocrity, and whilst he hasn’t taken is over the line, two finals in consecutive euros is still impressive. Now to get a real winner in and get us over the line

The media guys who look like aristocracy are part of the problem with England football. Football is meritocracy. England, FA, Gareth, Sky Sports commentors all show "aristocracy" yes men.

I love how fans think all England have to do is get an elite coach and then suddenly we’ll definitely win. You know these managers styles take years to implement and managers like pep and klopp if they have a problem they can buy someone new. International management is completely different and has far more to do with how the players perform than how the manger performs. Any team who has won an international tournament for the most part are not elite managers and just know how to get a good feeling goin in the dressing room.
  • Listening to Kaveh made me feel as England just won last WC & Euros under Southgate.. "It's going to be hard to find someone as good as Southgate.." "They knew that he had earned the right to decide when it was right time to go.." "Southgate as impeccable as ever.."
  • @floaty10
What happened to all these elite coaches St George's Park was supposed to be churning out. I thought that was the FA's long term plan? To appoint another foreign manager when we're supposed to have an elite training facility is embarassing.
  • @QPRTokyo
Unlike Southgate the next guy will not be a manager but a coach. Southgate had to be a spokesman, politician, building a new England environment and so on. The next guy will probably be limited to just coaching.
  • This reporter is all over the place what is he talking about. Pure nonsense
  • @Hyde_Hill
Pep, Ancelotti, Zidane or Klopp would be a dream. Poch and Howe would be an upgrade. Rest is a risk.
  • @patrick2995
THERES NO ENGLISH MANAGER GOOD ENOUGH TOO MANAGE THIS WORLD CLASS SQUAD...AND EVEN STRONGER YOUNG PLAYERS COMING THROUGH
  • @libby4608
Did he just say the best person could be a woman? Asin a woman coaching the Men’s National Team?
  • @mellowplace
Would Pep’s brand of highly choreographed football work at international level though? I’m not so sure with the limited time together an international team has

Poch played Kane in the champions league final and again he wasn't fit (NO POCH)
