The #whitesox are the worst team ever. No team in #mlb history will be as bad as this again. Tonight, the #clevelandguardians ran the Sox to 80 games under .500, which is truly remarkable. It was the 17th time they were shutout and they have lost 20 series in a row. #jonathancannon continues to pitch well in his rookie campaign, but the offense is as bad as we’ve ever seen and there’s truly no end in sight.

    They have to go 10-6 final 16 not to break the '62 Mets record. That would be virtually impossible with this rag tag team.

    The Sox need to score no more than 38 runs in their final 16 games to end the season averaging fewer than 3 runs per game. I know they have it in them! Meanwhile, they are drawing crowds reminiscent of the pandemic year.

    The entire Chicago White Sox organization (managers, coaches and owners included) have been nominated for the coveted "Joe Shlabotnik Award", given for memorable performance in Major League Baseball. No one in baseball will forget this year or team anytime soon after what they have done for the sport in 2024. Anyone can lose a baseball game, but it's taken the special genius of the White Sox to lose more than ¾ of the games they've played this year!

    It’s a good thing they fired the manager. They get to pay two next year and if the new guy leads a thirty game turnaround next year they still won’t be within shouting distance of .500
