  • “Not only do beavers have to chew the crap out of their food, they have to chew the food out of their crap.” I’m done! That’s the best line ever!
  • @sassquatch990
Zefrank's mom must have lived quite a life. She always has such specific advice.
  • The part about the young horse not being “that healthy, it’s flesh is missing” absolutely broke me 🤣
  • @SpeCt3r1995
I think that "It's cozy in their butt. Sorry— it's cozy in there, but..." Might be my favorite running joke on the channel. Like it's all brilliantly written, but that just gets an involuntary cackle out of me every single time.
  • @lu-cipher
I'm a biologist and former zookeeper and I always share True Facts videos with anyone curious about animals and the natural world because it's hilarious, well researched, factually correct and Ze Frank delivers these perfectly. Also, shoutout to Jerry!
  • @paul_ujb
“The hardest thing our body makes — hush now.” Perfect delivery with that one. Thanks for yet another entertaining and educational video!
  • That baby beaver yawn was so adorable. I have decided I quite like beavers.
  • @cattlecastle
"But when, how does the beaver and why does it beave?" Has become my immediate reaction every time I hear beaver. Sometimes I forget the word is funny to people for other reasons
  • “And their first lodges are like the first apartment that kids get after college… You know there is a lava lamp a futon and a half eaten bagel, and the futon is so gross you choose to sit on the bagel, and he’s all like ‘where’s my bagel’ and then you’ve got explaining to do” Truly a masterful quote
  • 4:10 Random Fun Fact: Ever heard of the saying, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!"? It's because you can tell their age by their teeth and when horses were given as gifts, if the recipient checked the teeth it was deemed as rude because it's a gift so it shouldn't matter how old the horse is.
  • I'm 72 and have been watching animal documentary all my life. I have learned so much from your videos that no one else bothers to tell. So many things I've wondered about that you have answered. Your sense of humour keeps me watching. Keep it up. Your genius.
  • @cryzz0n
They’ve actually reintroduced beavers into parts of Essex here in the UK and now there are wild beavers as they mated. They’ve done more to help with flooding in the few years they’ve been there than the local council has in years.
  • @Angeegabs
I saw a tweet once that said “Do beavers see a river running and just think ‘ABSOLUTELY NOT’” 😂 And learning that they want to stop the sound of running water, I now have confirmation.
  • @daniell1483
Just got to take a second and put all humor aside: I think zefrank has done more to educate people about animals than most textbooks. It is like tricking your brain into wanting to learn more rather than getting tired of it. Freaking genius.
  • I always loved nature shows, but hated how they would make me fall asleep. These are a form of perfection.
  • @DPSFSU
I wish you talked about the Beaver wars. When two separate packs meet, they slap their tails like a war cry. They go at each other terrifyingly. tales-tails. My bad lol
  • @floorpizza8074
"How does a beaver, and why does it beave?" has to be the best line written. Ever.
  • @adamchurvis1
I first came upon the trapped skeleton of a beaver in the Canadian wilderness in 1973. The trap was chained near the base of a tree and was old and rusted, and the head of the skeleton had these two MASSIVE teeth growing all the way back into the skull, and parts of them were orange-tinted. Both cool and a little strange for a twelve-year-old kid from the Illinois suburbs.
