FILM DESCRIPTION:
The future of civilization rests in the fate of the One Ring, which has been lost for centuries. Powerful forces are unrelenting in their search for it. But fate has placed it in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who inherits the Ring and steps into legend. A daunting task lies ahead for Frodo when he becomes the Ringbearer - to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom where it was forged.

Heard that Arwens stunt actress fell in love with the Stallion she was riding in this scene but could not afford it so Viggo Mortensen decided to purchase it for her out of kindness. What an absolute King

i don think anyone else could have played the part of Arwen other than Liv Tyler, this is the best movie she has ever done, she also sings in the movie just amazing

"Give up the half-ling, She-elf." "If you want him, come and claim him." Just two lines. Two lines. Perfectly portrayed the characters, conflicts, and strengths among Arwen and the Ring Wraiths.

Notice how she gets a scratch on her cheek - I think that’s the director’s way of telling us that although she’s magical, she’s also vulnerable.

The Fellowship Of The Ring is still my personal favourite of the trilogy, absolutely timeless.

The beauty, the grace, and the subtle feminine power of Arwen manages to take my breath everytime I watch this scene. Absolutely brilliant delivery.

One of my favorite moments in this is when she delivers the line “Nuroleim, Asfaloth!” It’s just desperate enough, she’s being very brave but they were catching up. Urging Asfaloth to hurry!! Was perfect

22 years later and this still gives me goosebumps. I watched this in the theater 13 times. I'm totally fine with the change they made from the book.

This magic is so much cooler than most. No need for a staff or a wand, or drawing a divine symbol.. simply asking the mountains for aid in a dire time of need. Chilling!

This - Arwen with her sword drawn facing the Wraiths - could very well be a classic painting. Epic scene.

Look at this scene and Liv Tyler, she literally gives off an aura of grace and magic. Now compare her to "Galadriel" in the Rings of Power and you'll see how far media has fallen. Amazing actress in an epic scene, in an equally epic movie.
