  • When you realize that both Obi-Wan and Yoda watched Luke Skywalker be born. And then, Luke Skywalker would later watch both Obi-Wan and Yoda die.

Luke crying after Padme died is so heartbreaking 😢rest in peace,Padme Amidala the force will always be with you.

I love the little moment where Obi-wan looks at Yoda like he know’s what he’s thinking. They both know these two babies will be vital to the fate of the galaxy.

By the way, Padme's birth is shown very believably. She does not scream at the top of her voice and constantly, but only during contractions and then not loudly. Also, the viewer was shown that there is a break between contractions, when the woman in labor can rest a bit and gain strength. And then, judging by most of the films and TV shows, the expectant mother only pushes and nothing more. No one yells at her, “Push, push!” ten minutes straight. There is no fuss and noise. Of course, this is due to the tragedy of the scene, but such a believable depiction of childbirth is no longer found in cinema. The directors make action out of it. It's a pity... It's a pity.

Even Padme knew there was good in Darth Vader.
  • If you look closely you notice Leila’s eyes are open looking at Padme while Luke’s are closed, looking away
  • It’s so sad she was dying because she gave up she loved Anakin but she couldn’t live in a world where he was evil and working with the dark side but deep down she still knew that there was still good deep within him it’s heartbreaking when you think about it because Anakin let his ambition and obsession with the dark side destroy him and in doing so he lost padme I’m sure that if Padme had lived to see Anakin do right then she would be proud and happy to know that at least until the very end of his life he was able to change and come back to the good side even if it’s only for a few minutes But Padme’s death alone is heartbreaking because yes she was healthy but she wasn’t strong enough and gave up hope because in her eyes it was “the man I love has fallen to evil and if he’s evil then what’s left for me to stay in this world for? I had a chance to save him and I failed to convince him that the dark side was evil and for that I must pay my baby’s will do fine without me but now my time is up and that is my choice” it’s just really sad 😞💔

I was born in 2001 and grew up watching Star Wars. Episode 3 literally taught me where babies come from

I always got the feeling that Padme let herself die in order to protect Luke and Leia. If she had lived, somehow Sidious or Vader would have eventually found out and tracked her down and discovered the children, so by dying she could sell the deception that her child/children died with her. Itf true, it's sad to think that the only way she could protect them was by not being around to care for and love them.
  • Yoda knew the twins carry their father’s powers and he also knew that they maybe the key to restoring balance to the force.
  • @RainbowWolf2023
Poor Padme & all she wanted was Anakin’s love & to help her raise there kids instead Anakin turned his back on her but Luke Would bring his Father back to the Light Side of the Force
  • 2:43 “We must take them somewhere where the sith will not sense their presence.”
  • Watching this again, and hearing Yoda saying they should hide until the time is right. Only Yoda and Obi-Wan finally see the aftermath of the Sith's defeat thanks to the Force, but Organa unfortunately never sees the Empire defeated. Kind of sad.
  • This scene always makes me tear up its not sad or emotionally its just a intense nostalgia of seeing the orgin of some amazing characters.
