As a veteran Arkham series player, this series is literally the golden age of gaming. Story picks up very fast and I still revisit these games every year or so. My advice to help you, (especially since you picked hard on the first go) SLOW DOWN 😂 It looks like you’re trying to rush through the combat and stealth areas. Play it like Spider-Man (PS4). They used the Arkham style combat in that game along with some of the stealth elements. Don’t just spam square, you need to keep your combo’s up and be patient with your punches for the critical strikes to connect. I’ve been waiting for you to play this series for the longest and hope you have a shit ton of fun, LET’S GET IT.

The story gets a lot crazier in the next two games, I’d think of this one more as an introduction

"do harley and batman have a thing" in a lot of iterations they seem to get along, even as close friends, whenever harley comes to her senses and realizes the joker is horrible for her, and their dynamic in those moments is always really cool

He's right. Reading the character bios/stories does help with immersion. I remember playing Arkham City and reading the files about the Iceberg Lounge. It said Joker put a bottle through Penguin's eye. I thought Penguin had a monocle on, the whole time it was a damn bottle.😂

so glad you started this journey. i used to watch my friend play through this series back in the day, but ive never played it until recently. the new batman movie reawakened my love for batman, so i decided to try out the arkham series. although i did start with arkham knight, it was absolutely amazing. probably in my top 10 games ive ever played.
