  • It never fails to amaze me how gullible people can be to follow these charlatans.
  • @ESPLTD322
Scammers become televangelists because 1) donations from desperate/ignorant people, 2) every penny is tax free, and especially 3) it’s the only way you can commit outright fraud, and not be arrested for it.

What's sad is I grew up in church and my grandfather was the pastor. He displayed the right way of being a pastor. Giving to the community, helping others, and putting himself last to the point it almost felt like people was using him. There are still trustworthy churches but the dark shadow these mega televangelist have is awful.
  • Am I the only one who thinks that Kenneth Copeland's eyes look so EVIL? 🤔
  • @edwardbaker2448
Jesus never said, "give me all your money, while he was still preaching."

As a Christian myself, I actually attended one of these and was sickened. On the back of everyone's chair was an envelope you could put money into. So many people were putting money in, I saw well meaning fellow Christians being fleeced. To love God doesn't cost a thing, and it doesn't to love anyone else either.
  • He didn’t die for our paycheck, he sacrificed himself for our sins
  • Now I understand why the Bible says people who preach the gospel will be judge more harshly
  • You can’t help the terminally stupid but you can tax these monsters.
  • As a devout Christian, I ashamed and broken hearted that people like men and women have totally misused the house of God. I wish that an amendment to the Constitution of the USA would bring them to task. Great reporting.
  • I have heard some Christians went to jail because they listened to these psychopaths and didn't bring there children to hospital. I definitely agree with that.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why none of these guys has ever won an Emmy for Best Performance by an Actor on Television.
  • Not taxing these grifters and not regulating their donations is colossally stupid in the USA.
  • So let me get this straight: In 2018 when I was diagnosed with cancer, early enough the surgeon said "was a blessing" , I shoulda just ignored him & gave all my money to the Copelands and "rebuked cancer & lifesaving surgery". Gee...look at all that life I would've cheated myself out of...for no other reason than stupidity

It’s amazing how many people think they can donate their way to heaven.

i remember sleeping over at my grandmas house as a kid. She had no cable and like 5 channels and remember watching benny hinn and even as a 8 year old i could tell it wasnt real. If this guy could cure people by just touching them why isnt the entire world free of illness or the news reporting on this miracle

This video reminds me of one of my favorite lines from the movie “Christmas Vacation”. When Eddy confesses to Clark that they’re really living in the motorhome. He told Clark that “they would’ve ben alright if they hadn’t sent all their money to that TV preacher that was screwing the Hockey player!”.

I just stopped going to church altogether. Done with the hypocrisy.
