These are Going to be the Starter Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Another reason why I believe this trio works really well is because it gives this group some variety, which Game Freak typically look to have in starter trios. Snivy is a reptile, Scorbunny is a mammal, and Piplup is a bird. They just feel like they fit together really well in my opinion! Would you like this starter trio? Or would you want to see something else?

I definitely see them doing the nod of you get a "regional" starter of Snivy Scorbunny or Piplup, and then "Sycamore" gives you Chespin Fennekin or Froakie later.

This game is the perfect opportunity to finally give the kalos starters their megas

in OG XY, the gave gave you 1 kalos starters and 1 kanto starters that have mega evolutions. The ideal format for me is if in this game they gave you 1 Legends starters that will evolve into their kalos regional form, and 1 og kalos starters with their new Mega evolutions capabilities.

My immediate thoughts before I even get through the video. The starters could very well be the Kalos starters with Megas. Otherwise, Snivy, Scorbunny and Piplup seem like they could be it. Because French, Napoleon and Soccer

There’s 2 options: 1. Kalos starters but with their Mega evolutions 2. Regional starters for snivy, torchic and piplup (all 3 have ties to france or x and y) and then getting kalos starters later with their mega evolutions, similar to how the gen 1 starters were given later on

My thought for starters are Torchic, Snivy, and Piplup. Because the Indigo Disc trailer reveals us that all the starters are catchable, and when showing that off they pair the Hisiuan starters with the ones mentioned above. Cyndaquil with Torchic, Piplup with Oshawatt, and Snivy with Rowlett. So it gives thoughts that they could be the three starters we get. Only time will tell what we get. But Based on that, that is what I think. Also, the rooster is the national animal of France, so you could see Torchic representing that as the other two also have ties with France.

Serperior is literally on the parfum palace gates. Snivy is definitely gonna be there

Scorbunny is based on a soccer/football player There is a game called ‘La Soule’ which is similar to soccer/football, and it was developed in Normandy (a part of Northern France)

England and France have a rivalry with each other in soccer, with Kalos being based on France and Galar is based on England where Scorbunny is from, it would make sense.

Snivy, Scorbunny, and Piplup if different starters again, but the fact that they're bringing back Megas has me also convinced it's just gonna be the 3 Kalos Starters again with Megas

I think the "new" starters trio wouldn't have mega but the "original", which one would be given, will. It's like for X and Y where the Kalosian (new) starters didn't have mega but the Kantonian (original) did.

If not Piplup, I can see Popplio fitting. Primarina is so elegant and fashionable, and that fits Kalos pretty well

I personally think Chikorita might be a good option. Kalos is a region designed around beauty and elegence, and who better to add than the flower dino itself, Meganium? Also, mega MEGAnium, is a little too on the nose to not do it. Finally, Meganium as it currently exists sucks, and could really use an upgrade.

As soon as you pointed out Piplup's Frenchness, I guessed Snivy and Scorbunny. They're obvious choices!

Not to mention, Piplup is one of the most popular pokemon in Japan. I think your logic for all 3 is solid. Though i really hope the fire starter is Litten.

That's a good selection, I hope the original Trio get Megas too.

I’d go with Piplup personally but my daughter would most likly beg me to pick Scorbunny. Scorbunny is her favorite.

gen 6 mega gen 7 regional variants gen 8 regional variants w/ cross evolution gen 9 Rfakes / paradox just what if this time in Legends Z-A? we get the Regional form Starters w/Mega Evolution.

Adding more reason why the trio Scorbunny-Snivy-Piplup is the best outcome: Litten came from Gen 7, which Rowlet also home from, and they already pick Rowlet for Legend Arceus. With the Trio above, all will be a fresh-new pick in term of region and generation.
