Barshim's highest jump was when he said "can we have 2 golds?" ... What a moment!!!!

Tamberi's reaction was one of the most precious moment of this Olympics. So much joy!!

When Tamberi finished his jump and immediately ran to Barshim and hugged. Looks like a boy running to his older brother. The heart is too pure๐Ÿฅบ.

The olympics is the closest thing weโ€™ll have to world peace.

As Italian, this day was the most emotional ever for sports. In less than 20 minutes two guys gave to a hole country the most beautiful chapter of our history. I can't say how much I cried for joy. All the happiness and the hugs otherwise the amazing couple victory of Gimbo and Barshim and the epic feat of Marcell.
  • That hug at the end, true friendship leads to amazing achievements ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡

For everyone wondering, this is the rule applied in this case, no irregularities here: World Athletics Technical Book Rule 26.8.4: "[...] If no jump-off is carried out, including where the relevant athletes at any stage decide not to jump further, the tie for first place shall remain."

Will be remembered as one of the most historic moments of Olympic history๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’•

I love how Woo says โ€œWoo!โ€ when he's satisfied with the jump
  • They both deserved the Title, they were returning at their highest levels after having overcame serious injuries and all of their hard work had to be equally and highly rewarded. The fact they have decided to share the Title has probably been the best moment in these Olympics.

First joint gold medals for an athletics event since the 1912 Olympics, definitely will be one of the most historic moment in the Olympics history. That's what sportsmanship and friendship are. Truly passionate and wonderful.
  • @rickjames21
As a former high jumper i couldn't help but tear up. Job well done to both gold medalists

"Can we have two Gold's?".. That was just beautiful๐Ÿ˜„.
  • Barshim had a spine stress fracture , Tamberi had a foot fracture. To overcome that and give the entire world a hope that humans can exist and love each other is the most epic moment in our history. Couldnโ€™t help the tears, I try not to cry, but those are happy tears.
  • Barshim and Tamberi brought sportsmanship to a high level. I loved seeing two friends reach such heights especially while both had endured past injuries and supported each other along the way. So happy for you both sharing Gold medals at the Olympic high jump. The highlight of true sportsmanship of the Olympics 2020.

I love how both Barshim and Tamberi didn't leave out the dude who got 3rd, they were there for sportsmanship and the love of the sport, truly a memorable moment

2:33:41 Will go down in the annals of the Olympics. Iconic. 2 best friends deservedly sharing the top of a podium after being with each other through thick and thin .
  • @Johnrap
So, in the span of 5 minutes or so in the stadium, they had a world record in the women's triple jump, a shared gold medal in the high jump and an Italian in his first Olympics winning the 100 meter dash.
  • @conormurphy2705
Tamberi's loud "SI!" at the end of the Italian anthem is so passionate! He deserved that shared gold with Barshim!
