  • Even though he is criminally underrated, Chris is without a doubt one of the greatest country singers to ever live. Not many other country singers, new or old, can claim they lived what they sang quite like Chris did. Rest in peace you legend, you're an inspiration and hero to myself and many others

Chris LeDoux was truly larger than life. Most people couldn’t make up the stuff he did.

I hope one day the folks in Nashville see this and actually listen to him more and put him in the Country Hall of Fame because there is still a place for him there.

The Man will always be a legend in Rodeo and Music. RIP Chris
  • This song is among the three greatest country songs of all time. It is a special song with classic meaning. Every day I wear a cowboy hat that has been through rain, snow, heat, and mud. My friends and even strangers call it my signature every day. This Chris Ledoux song is one of a kind. I know it's meaning and it gives my rugged and dusty hat new life in my head. I've been a cowboy since I was 7 years old. I've broken, trained, and ridden many horses. This Chris Ledoux song has given my old hat new life!

This song can send chills down anyone's spine if they listen to it closely. How 95 people can dislike it is beyond me. RIP Chris LeDoux.

if Chris hadn't passed, there is no doubt in my mind that he would be one of the greatest country singers. even though he did pass, he is still great.

I was lucky enough to be at this concert and so many others that Chris put on! He may be a Wyoming Son, but he is Utah's Cousin! He is one of us and God Bless Him, his family, and thank you for your Music! Thanks Ned for continuing the Legacy! I remember paying 18.00 and Gas to get to the shows but I would have paid 100 back then to see him. Now I would pay who knows what to just have my kids see him once! Thanks Chris!

Now day so called country music execs and artists listen up to Chris's life and songs. You could learn alot. He was Country !! Rest in peace Chris
  • Chris LeDoux is seriously one of the most underrated and underappreciated country singers ever
  • I'm new to Country if I'm being honest. I've been listening to all kinds of country singers for the past two years. I like almost all of them. Except some of the new stuff that's less country and more rap. But this song right here, you can feel it in your soul. You never know what someone else has been through and how something simple like a hat could mean so much. Beautiful song, even more beautiful meaning.
