Fun fact: powerbounce is just actually harder in remake You need a 1 frame Input by jump 5
-
The funny thing is that there's a bonus boss if you go to floor 100 a second time (not saying who, and none of you better say either).
-
Him doing the 100 trial pit mid game is such a 2015 Alpharad thing to do and he's so based for it. Also the 1 star point reward is hilarious, I love that, well done Nintendo xd
-
Moral of the story for fighting Bonetail: USE POWER LIFT
-
As soon as he mentioned the Pit, I said OH NO
-
34:43 Hey Alpharad, did you know Elite Wizzards have a 75% chance of being blown away by Flurries "Gale Force" move? It really trivializes battling them quite a bit, but you still get all of the Star Points you would normally get by battling them too!
-
Let's do half pit Famous last words
-
Kinda hope he uploads more of his playthrough, i loved this Edit: actually it might be a bit boring considering he’s now an A-tier fighter before Keehaul Key
-
Power Bounce was made harder to use in the remake. On the 3rd or 4th jump I'm not sure which, the timing to press A is exactly 1 frame, and only on that jump. After it it goes back to the regular window. It's still a very powerful move if you can time that frame, but yeah it's very hard.

You can actually beat the entire pit before even beating Hooktail
-
I remember how good Flurrie was for this fight in the original game. In addition to being unkillable so long as you have FP, her "dodgy fog" was also really good. I swear enemies missed Mario like 75% of the time when it was active.
-
I beat the pit as soon as I got Flurrie, before the Great Tree. Since they changed Gale Force to give XP, you just blow every battle, and since Fire Drive ignores defense, you can get the rest pretty easy if you focus on Superguarding. With Bonetail, though, Fire Drive was my only damaging move. I had to learn all of her SuperGuard times and keep one partner alive with Super Appeal P so I can keep refilling my FP. In short, I started the pit at 2:00 AM, got to Bonetail at 4 AM, and finished the pit at 6 AM Edit: And I went up 20 levels and reached A-Rank before the great tree

thoughts and prayers as soon as i hear 'the pit'
-
I thought this was gonna be the “Doing the Pit in the Prologue” challenge, I’ve been seeing that on my feed a lot
-
I was only going to watch like the first 10 minutes but instead I watched the whole thing. Underdog story of a lifetime.
-
Honestly i always find the pit way more fun mid game then late game. Theres people who do it in chapter one which is a little to insane for me but around chaoter 3/4 is the perfect balance between being super intense while not being hard enough that i give up
-
"not all of it" he said
-
It's so weird seeing the Stylish during/after the moves... As a kid, I NEVER knew if this mechanic while I played the game.
-
I accidentally did the full pit blind before I started chapter two. Still don't know how the hell I did it, but I'll never get those hours back lmao
-
I can't wait for him to do the new secret bosses and do the same title but without the quotes
