I get that you two are hyped but you may want to pump the breaks a bit and let the kid pitch before you start saying the Jays robbed the MLB.
  • Why did 19 other teams pass on him then if he was rated so high? We got a steal? Really? What did our scouting team miss is my question?
  • @Redz1991
Potentially another Gausman . 95-97 mph fastball, with a nasty splitter . I reckon he will throw even faster since he’s only 20.
  • @Tango21C
Wondering why he dropped all the way to 20. In a draft where it’s well known that you draft the best player available at the time

I'm not high on anyone til I see how they adjust to the league's adjustments. Seen too many Jays (Manoah, Vlad, Davis Schneider) have a big year, the league adjusts to them and they can't counter-adjust. Youre gonna see the same with Horowitz, he'll finish 2025 with a .250 batting average.
  • @hangemhi001
That’s only if the organization can develop lol which i believe they can’t
  • This guy isn’t a generational talent he’s like 2 years away… good pick but do you honestly trust these clowns to develop him?
  • @TimWong49152
And the Blue Jays saved over a $1 million by Yesavage dropping to 20th.
  • @Diana_L.
Yeah, right. We should trust the judgement of people who predicted that the Jays would be a perennial MLB powerhouse once Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio had reached the Majors.
  • Blue Jays are in a good position, we have guys that contenders are going to want, time to get younger and more talented.
  • Who has been robbed all season long? Fans of the Jays! Slow down, quit trying to blow smoke up you know where. If you guys still believe the Jays were in on Othani, boy Have I got some swamp land for you.
  • @paulduffy8774
where is tidderman he is a great pitcher ps chapman having a great year in san fran
  • So there’s a reason why he dropped down to 20. The way the blue jays season is going and he won’t report to the Blue Jays.
  • If the Jays are going to do this then lets go all in on a trade. BLOCK BUSTER that would shake the whole sport and be remembered for a long time. The Mariners are the only team to target for this type of trade in my opinion. This sounds crazy but if you did this you are the a contender for 5 years with the other trades yo make this year focused on pitching prospects and international signing money. I put in Bassitt as this give the Mariners a 2 year window. There would be a shit load of BC people going to watch these games and buying merchandise. Bo Bichette SS To the Mariners Vladimir Guerrero 1B Yusei Kikuchi LHP or Bassitt RHP Yimi Garcia RHP Bryan Woo RHP IN MLB Rotation Michael Morales Ready 2025 Harry Ford C Ready 2025 Cole Young SS Ready 2025 To Blue Jays Jonny Farmelo OF Ready 2027 Cole Phillips RHP Ready 2028 Aiden Smith OF Ready 2027 Jurrangelo Cijntje 2024 Draft pick Ryan Sloan RHP 2024 Draft Pick 250k International Signing next 3 years per free agent signed ANY Bassitt, Guerrero, Bichette retained salary costs more i.e. picks in future (Manfred hinted it's coming)
  • The Jays need to draft toughness, and need a culture change. The Jay's have a whimsical identity. 😊
  • His health concerns me He just suffered a collapsed lung from bending over His Medicals prob making teams ???
  • @jaytabac6525
Amazing draft pick. Not quite as good as Rick E. Tiedeman, Nate B. Pearson, or Alec Manoah, but we will see if he ever sees the MLB. There is a 15-17% chance that he has more than 100 innings in the MLB. Like all draft picks, it is a crap shoot.
  • Bro how do you rob every other organization by taking the “best player available” does that mean every 1st overall pick is a steal? The ray’s literally stole a player from us later in the draft in a Catcher the Jays heavily looked at and the Rays took him a pick before us
