    Nice fab work Goose ! I hear ya with the waiting on parts . I would have done the same . I ended up using the Tinman cross member for my t56 magnum .

    Great vid bud and this is why you get paid to make things work. It’s never easy. I do a bunch of minor fab and you need to get a good set of metal drill bits. I saw you struggling with those holes and trust me, I’ve been there done that. A good set of drill bits will save you significant time and frustration. Great vid. Can’t wait to see it run

    Love the channel. Question for you, what transmission was equipped in this car from the factory and are those the original parking brake cables? I'm having a hell of a time with these cables and just curious. Also curious what position on the frame holes was the original cross member. Thanks

    Hey - love your content. Did you have to cut up or modify the transmission tunnel on the chevelle to fit the 4l80?

    I’m on the same step as you but I have a question, did you have any install issues with the frame rail holes not lining up with the holes on the crossmember I’ve been playing with the install for a few hours and doesn’t look like they line up not sure if it’s just my frame or what

    Hey Goose, I have a 1971 Monte and I want to put a 4l80 in it with the 6.0. did you have to cut the trans housing to get it in the Chevelle you worked on the cross member?
