"those things send us down a road, they make us who we are,and if anyone is destined for greatness, it's you son. You owe the world your gifts, you just have to figure out how to use them, and know that wherever they take you, we'll always be there.”

In 2015, I started my youtube channel with a Peter & Gwen video. 6 years after, with all those Spider-Man events going on, I thought It was finally time to visit again those movies. They had such an impact on me when I first watched them and I totally love Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man.

This video feels like going home for me, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Whenever I watch TASM. Gwen's death is just gut wrenching to watch. It's just so painful to see someone lose their loved ones.
  • "We must be greater than what we suffer." That line from Gwen stuck with me and made me find strenght in myself and the courage to stand up to what I believe!

I sometimes feel alone in my love for the Andrew Garfield Spidey movies, but it's always videos like these that make me remember why I love them so much. And as time goes on, I try my best to forget about other people's opinions and focus on making my own. Art is subjective after all. So thank you for giving this guy the spotlight, because he damn well deserves it. December can't come soon enough. It still doesn't feel real.

Hands down, Andrew was the best spidey of them all. He was such a big character. He suffers, can't control his emotions. But he stands up and become a good man.

Andrew's Spider-Man feels like the most realistic honestly. From how to suit looks, to how he swings, to how he acts. At the end of the day, Peter Parker is a good kid, but he's still a kid. Uncle Ben taught him responsibility, and he first saw the weight of that responsibility when Ben died. But he's still human, and he still wants the best of both worlds, but wants to help people as well. He's stubborn, so he wants Gwen Stacy with him even with the dangers of being Spider-Man. Where did that lead him? He had to relearn responsibility again, the hard way. It just feels so sincere and natural, and human. Paired with Garfield's top tier acting and his chemistry with Stone, and it's easily the most modern human Spider-Man ever.

Can't wait to see him in NWH the most underrated spidey
  • @Sefaso
Andrew Garfield was Spider-man. We were just blinded by nostalgia.
  • “So come on home Andrew. Be our hero… And we love you.” No Way Home feelings

Andrew was always my favorite Spidey! Absolutely loved his quips and comments while fighting people. And that scene where the cranes line up for him is absolutely gold, it shows how much the NYC loves him!
  • Uncle Ben And Gwen-Stacy's deaths were 100% Peter's fault. These two deaths are what define him. They're the reason he is who he is. Both had to die so all the people Spider-Man has saved could live
  • Okay, I lost count of how many times I watched these two Garfield movies, the question was never which is the best spider, but what the movie makes you feel, what it gives you, and in these two movies of his I took so many lessons that I carry with me to this day. I love my heart and really wanted a closure to this universe.

He is the most damaged Peter Parker as far as I know, he suffered so much, and I feel the pain, it felt so hurt, but he gave me courage. His relationship with his family, and each of his relatives, his bestfriend, and especially he and Gwen, are so beautiful, because it shows what might happen in real world, it's an hostile place. Besides him, I really loved the Tobey's version for his relationship with Harry. Nevertheless I saw Andrew's version was more complex, there are more variables contributed on his development, I'm grateful that you give his version the credit, at least for anyone who love it, thank you my friend, it's a remarkable one.

“So come home Peter. You’re my hero…and I love you” I legit cry every time I hear that line.
  • I know you probably won’t see this comment as I’m a bit late to the party, and you probably receive to many to raid all of them, but I just wanted to thank you for this tribute. The Amazing Spider-Man films are some of my absolute favorite movies ever created, and it makes me incredibly disheartened to see people criticize them and complain about how terrible they are. Many claim that these movies don’t understand the heart of the character. But in my opinion, that couldn’t be further from the truth. These movies capture the very essence and soul of Spider-Man and what he stands for. The thing I love most about Peter Parker comes from a very dark place. Terrible things happen to him all the time, and life keeps brutally pounding him down. And yet, he still gets back up. He pushes through the pain and the suffering, and never backs down. And he doesn’t become cynical from all the trauma. No, instead he does his best to make sure that nobody else around him has to feel that way. Whether that be his Aunt May, some kid who gets bullied, or a hardworking man that gets ignored by everyone. He doesn’t wallow in self pity like so many others would. Sure, he stumbles. He makes mistakes, and he blames himself for things that he can’t control. But that just makes him all the more human. I personally feel like too many people mark Garfield’s Spider-Man off as being too “edgy” to be an accurate representation of the character. And yet, this edit proves that thought process completely wrong. The TASM films understood the whole “never give up ” aspect of Peter. These films are imbued with hope. Not just for the characters in the film, but also those watching it. These movies have a very special place in my heart. Every time I watch it, I feel inspired to be a better man. And at the same time, I relate to Peter on a personal level. Your tribute captures the exact heart and tone of the movies. I know I’ll be watching it on repeat. This (and all your other tributes) are beautiful. I can’t even imagine how long it takes to go through the movies and pick out scenes that flow together, and match it with music that fits. I feel like a simple “thank you” isn’t quite enough, but it’s all I can offer to you. Keep up the spectacular, awe-inducing work Slyfer, your tributes mean the world to me and so many others. Excelsior!

I saw The Amazing Spider-Man at the age of 7 when it came out in cinemas. Growing up, I've always looked at Peter Parker as a reminder of what the power of resilience can do and how it can change a person's world. This video cements that idea. Thank you.
  • There's been so many online retrospectives of spider-man since NWH trailer released The hype is real and people really appreciated andrew Garfield's spider man,I'm excited to see him in the mcu and reach the potential he never got
