Palestinian child killed by the Israeli air strike on girls’ school is mourned by her sister

“She was hit by the air strike and died.” Khadija was in tears as she described the killing of her sister. Khadija’s father has been detained by Israel for the past 8 months, according to her mother.
In a statement regarding the air strike on the school which was sheltering 4,000 displaced Palestinians, the Israeli military claimed it had targeted a “Hamas command and control centre” inside the school compound.
