Kamala's dad is Indian and only part Jamaican and that Jamaican part may not be exactly Black. Not all Jamaicans came from Africa. After the British essentially wiped out the Arawak and Tiano, the indigenous people of the island, they brought in Africans, Indians, and Chinese to work and develop the island.
