I'm an ER nurse and first time parents often bring their fussy babies to the ER in the middle of the night thinking something is wrong with them. I love showing this to those parents and watching their faces when their baby magically stops crying. It almost always works!

It's 2021, but this is still one of the best helpful video on earth! I hope this doctor gets some special award or even a raise.

I love the fact that YOU calm the baby down. Other places just let them cry and give them back to the parents

The crossing the arms makes a lot of difference. I noticed that with my babies. I didn't learn it right away though. Babies like to be swaddled. Being uncovered like at a doctor's office makes them panicky.

I tried it on a kid at school, it worked except he then called me gay
  • Before watching this video I had tried a very similar trick with my little infant daughter several times and yes it always worked like a charm to stop her crying. 100% of the times!! Thank you doc for validating the trick, much appreciated!!
