Now that I'm stuck indoors due to the Skyrim weather I guess I can finally read the Lusty Argonian Maid.

Ever since I discovered it, I often come to this mountain lodge to get warm :)

If I had unlimited supply of money i'd buy land somewhere like the size of Ireland and turn it into a medieval inspired country.

I have put this on every night for the past few days to read a book and fall asleep to. It has been the perfect compliment to my evening relaxation time with my dogs and cat and quiet. Just wonderful!!

There’s a lot of good ambience vids on youtube, but literally nothing else beats this video, even ones similar with wind and a fireplace. This one gets it just right, where you feel warm and sheltered. I try to fall asleep to other ones but always stop after 5 minutes and play this one haha please never get rid of this

One of the better sleep aid vids. This one isn't just a 10 second sound loop. The seemingly random creeks of wood and gusts of wind improve the effect.

this comforts me and calms me down a lot while being in rehab struggling with heroin addiction and anxiety, so thank u a lot for this!! 💖

For an even better experience, play this video along with a vid called "A Winter's Tale (Skyrim Tavern - "Drinking Edit" ) — [1.5 Hrs]" You won't regret it Also, right-click --> loop

Oh how I would love to be in this cosy cabin with a glass of wine listening to the wind, snow and fire crackling 😊I can dream!

Winter has always been my favorite season. So much more aloof than the other seasons.
  • @TarikSerra
How can someone dislike this? It's so heartwarming.
  • A nice cup of tea, a good book and pipe full of combustible plant material in a room like this...perfection.

Chrysalism: n. the amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm, listening to waves of rain pattering against the roof like an argument upstairs, whose muffled words are unintelligible but whose crackling release of built-up tension you understand perfectly.
  • So many comments saying how peaceful this video is (and it is peaceful to listen to, don't get me wrong!). It says a shit-ton about how waaay too many of us are stressed out, need vacations, or just basically need the world to stop turning for just a damned minute so we can take a freakin' breather from the insanity of modern life. Ironic that many people are finding this respite on a medium that sometimes contributes to the "noise," as it were. (Just sayin' what's on a lot of peeps' minds, I think. :P)

"Stay awhile, and Listen!" This is very nice. Thank you for it. It took me a moment to see if the candles move as well or not, of course i was looking at the one in the distance.

What I like most about this is it has a nice real and genuinely warming sound to the fire but it lacks the irritatingly loud pops that many fireplace recordings have.
